Sophie has been the Blood Cancer NZ Finance Manager for over 17 years and, in that time, has helped implement a range of new financial systems and procedures to ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability and future growth.

As a chartered accountant, Sophie is responsible for managing all financial aspects of Blood Cancer NZ including funding management, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, taxation, accounting and payroll management. Prior to working for Blood Cancer NZ, Sophie worked in a similar role at Microsoft New Zealand.
