Tim joined Blood Cancer NZ as Chief Executive in 2024, bringing extensive leadership experience across the health and philanthropic sectors.

He is focused on growing Blood Cancer NZ’s impact by expanding support for patients and whānau, extending our investment in research, and advocating for better access to medicines, treatment and care.

Tim is Chair of the Cancer Alliance of NGOs (CANGO) and a member of Pharmac’s Consumer and Patient Working Group, contributing patient perspectives to wider health-system change. Throughout his career, he has worked with patients, clinicians, researchers, policymakers and funders to build strong partnerships and turn evidence and lived experience into better health outcomes for New Zealanders.
