Join us for a 5km lantern walk. We walk to keep the memory of our loved ones burning bright. We walk to shine a ray of hope for someone as they face their darkest moments. We walk to light the path for a brighter future.

Kiwis pick up the clippers for all kinds of reasons, but here, we're shaving for our friends, loved ones and other Kiwis living with a blood cancer. Whatever your 'why', and however you choose to shave – the money you raise will help fund the search for a cure and provide invaluable support for patients and their families.

This massive annual fundraising event is the ultimate challenge for firefighters from all over Aotearoa to give it their all for Kiwis living with blood cancer by climbing Auckland’s Sky Tower.

Take on the Step Up Sky Tower Challenge, an epic climb up 1,103 steps and 51 flights to the top of the Sky Tower, New Zealand's tallest structure. Held annually in support of Blood Cancer NZ, the most recent event took place on 2 August 2026.
