Welcome to 2026, we hope the year has started well! We are really looking forward to connecting with you and have been busy in the Wellington office planning support groups, hospital visits, and travel to the Central regions.

We are sad to announce that Nicki Roy will be leaving her role as Support Services Coordinator (SSC) as she relocates with her family to Auckland. Nicki has worked with us for the past five years and will be hugely missed by her colleagues and patients she has supported during that time. Nicki will remain in her role for the next few months and will work alongside the new Wellington SSC to ensure a smooth transition. We look forward to introducing the new coordinator in due course. We sincerely thank Nicki for her wonderful work and dedication to supporting patients, and we wish her and her family all the very best for the future.

What’s on?

We welcome you to join one of the many support groups we host in Hawkes Bay, Whanganui, Palmerston North, Wairarapa, Kāpiti, Hutt Valley or Wellington.

Meet the team

We are looking forward to Kids’ Club 2026, our monthly play therapy group for children who have a loved one living with a blood cancer.

We are aware that some of you will be dealing with significant challenges so please remember that we are available for one-to-one support, providing a listening ear and practical assistance.
