What’s on?
This year, Sean will continue groups in Rotorua, Taupō, Gisborne, as well as Hamilton. He is also re‑starting a patient haematology group in Tokoroa — so if you live in that area, watch this space!
Tina supports patients from Hamilton along with those from the Bay of Plenty (Tauranga and Whakatāne) and the Thames/Coromandel region. She travels regularly to these areas to facilitate support groups and connect with patients, whānau, and health professionals.
Sean and Tina also visit Waikato Hospital on a regular basis to provide support. When travelling across the region, they stop into the various cancer centres to meet with local health teams and any patients who may be there on the day.
Rochelle works part‑time (Mondays and Wednesdays) as a Support Services Coordinator. Her role includes managing our closed Facebook groups, facilitating online support groups, writing patient resources, and providing phone support for patients and whānau.
We are aware that some of you will be dealing with significant challenges at this time. Please remember we are available to offer one‑to‑one support, a listening ear, and practical assistance whenever you need it.
Take care, and please reach out as you need.
